Strategic Alliances Manager (Capital Markets) APAC, Singapore 168

Base Location: Singapore (Citizen or PR)

Coverage: APAC

 

The Strategic Alliances Manager will be focusing on managing existing partners and identify, recruit, and enable new Distribution Partners, Systems Integration Service partners, Delivery Partners, and Consulting Firm partners and support them for the successful and effective outcome of opportunities whilst owning and driving the partner implementation services excellence. At a minimum you should be familiar with Capital Markets OR Financial Services alliance-related activities taking place across APAC.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive and IT and Capital Markets knowledge you are right on the front line of interaction with our client’s partners. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and your ability to build a network will help shape out APAC partnership landscape.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customize our client’s Global EcoSystem to fit Asia
  • Work closely with regional business & channel leaders to align on key partner priorities, strategies and actions.
  • Develops and maintains strategic global, regional and country alliances and partnerships that will increment Capital Markets strategic revenue, business line and product line opportunities;
  • Identify Partners where needed (ex. new business opportunities where our client need to identify local partners)
  • Manage and exceed targets by improving, building and managing relationships with existing and potential partners and internal stakeholders to pursue sales opportunities.
  • Lead and Manage Internal Certifications for Compliances/Regulations/Diligence purposes.
  • Works closely with Sales, Account Management and Product Management groups to influence and align regional alliances with business needs and sales goals.
  • Understanding the organization, structure, and business model of Partners and develop relationships with decision makers, and technical/sales operatives to ensure efficient communication and productivity.
  • Leading and managing partner initiatives, architectural wins and identifying new strategies & incentives for field engagement and business success
  • Manage each phase of the sales cycle from partners perspective to drive opportunities to closure, delivering revenue impact.
  • Leading the relationships and owning the partner sales quota for the APAC Partners
  • Contributing to a Strategic Partner business plan for alliance solutions and initiatives
  • Organizing monthly progress meetings and quarterly business reviews for the assigned Strategic Partners
  • Providing input into the Strategic Partner portfolio strategy and monthly operations reviews

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION

  • 8 to 10+ years’ experience of developing, implementing and maintaining a successful partnership and alliances operations within a Financial Services Software or better Capital Markets financial technology firm.
  • Deep understanding of APAC business landscape and excellent System Integrator firms contacts at senior level throughout.
  • Background in strategy, pricing, portfolio management, competitive intelligence and primary research experience, preferably in the financial services technology industry
  • Demonstrated Experience and ability to interact, deliver presentations and operate with C-level executives of Tier 1 Global Banks and Partner Firms
  • Past SAP Financials / OFS / FNZ / FIS / AVALOQ / TEMENOS T24 / iFlex / Murex / Finastra / BaNCS / SunGard / Microsoft / FIS / SunGard / Oracle Financial Services (OFS) / TCS / IBM / Capgemini / Accenture Cognizant Channels / Alliances Management experience preferred
  • Able to work with variety of people from different backgrounds
  • Excellent communicator, strong presentation skills
