The Lead Business Solutions Consultant is an individual contributor that collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, global delivery, and customer support, to ensure the highest standards in executing pre-sales activities. This role is pivotal in crafting proposals that present a compelling value proposition and align with the unique needs of our clients.

The Lead Business Solutions Consultant combines strong business acumen with technical expertise, driving best practices across pre-sales functions, client-facing demonstrations, customer workshops, and the management of RFI and RFP processes.

The ideal candidate typically has an extensive background in Treasury and Capital Markets solution providers such as Murex, Calypso, Guava, FIS, Finastra, Temenos, GTreasury, Kyriba, SAP, LSEG, Oracle, Temenos, NTT Data, Avaloq, TIS, FINLYNC, Treasura/ION and similar. Alternatively, candidates could also come from major banks or from professional services firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, PwC, EY or system integrators such as Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro and similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead pre-sales initiatives, actively supporting the sales process and fostering client engagement.
  • Deliver targeted solution demonstrations that highlight operational efficiencies and business value.
  • Craft, review, and respond to RFI/RFP proposals, refining value propositions and customizing demo setups to meet client needs.
  • Utilize technical expertise to develop tailored solutions for presentations or client-specific environments, facilitating successful Proof-of-Concept (PoC) implementations.
  • Stay ahead of industry best practices, continuously enhancing our clients’ Treasury solutions.
  • Conduct market trend analysis, deriving actionable insights for specific regions and product portfolios.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to align product roadmaps with evolving market demands.
  • Lead training sessions for sales and solutions consulting teams to ensure product knowledge and client engagement excellence.
  • Contribute to the development of high-impact marketing materials and sales collateral, supporting Go-to-Market strategies for focus areas.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • It would be advantageous to have 5-10 years of professional experience in Treasury and risk software providers.
  • Strong understanding of the Treasury and Risk applications, and Capital Markets landscape, particularly front and middle office operations.
  • Expertise in pricing models, market data, and risk factors for front office Treasury instruments, including FX, MM, Bonds, Repos, FX Options, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, and Structured Products.
  • Proven experience in middle office risk management, covering credit risk (Credit Limits, SACCR, CVA/PFE) and market risk (VaR, backtesting, FRTB).
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise Market Risk, including ALM, IRRBB, FTP, Liquidity Management, and IFRS 9 regulations.
  • Client-centric pre-sales approach with a strong team-oriented attitude, especially in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Outstanding skills in delivering presentations, engaging with audiences, and producing high-quality reports.
  • Academic qualifications in Information Technology, Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Open to traveling as required.
