The Senior Sales Manager for Banking and Payments Solutions for the reputable and client of choice Global FinTech Leader, will have a wide range of integrated product portfolios subsequently the best ability to sell and cross-sell compared to the competition. This position is an individual contributor role, responsible for generating new business sales from the Financial Services Industry in the assigned geography. It plays a key role in achieving sales targets and implementing account plans and strategies, while further expanding our client’s already strong footprint in the territory by growing and developing the business through sales strategies derived from a local territory plan.

Senior Sales Manager typically comes from a reputable background of large banking and payments solution providers such as such as FiServ, Temenos, FIS, Finastra, Avaloq, ACI, FundTech, Oracle, Mambu, Calypso, SAP Financials, Edgeverve, Mambu, Backbase, ION, TCS but could also be principals, senior managers, partners and directors from the Financial Services arms of organizations such as Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, CapGemini, PWC, IBM, Infosys and similar.

Key responsibilities:

  • Network – Market – Identify – Sell – CLOSE
  • Well networked with the C- Suite of Indonesian Banks and FI
  • Socializes comfortable with Senior and C levels of the Indonesian Banks
  • Achieve sales objectives by initiating contact with prospective customers to sell our client’s Banking and Payments software, also related services if required.
  • Provide insight and plan effective sales campaigns to operate successfully in competitive bid scenarios.
  • Works as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts.
  • Establish and own the plans and strategies aimed at serving and expanding the Banking and Financial Services customer base
  • Identify market opportunities that contribute to the development and growth of a strong sales pipeline which will enable annual targets to be met.
  • Assist in developing sales plans and strategies while implementing pursuit plans to ensure timely and accurately forecasted closure of identified opportunities.
  • Be part of the regional and global reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management cycles

Required skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in sales and account management capacity of Complex Banking Solutions or Core Banking Solutions or Payments Solutions or Hardware to Indonesia Banks and Financial Institutions
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets in the Banking and Financial services sectors in any area.
  • Excellent knowledge and contacts within the banking and financial sector across Indonesia
  • Strong business knowledge on Banking and Payments Solutions
  • Ability to lead complex sales engagements where appropriate and to manage major/strategic accounts.
  • Demonstrated successful track record in Sales and Account Management; experience in complex sales at senior levels, building long-term strategic and executive relationships, and opportunity planning.
  • Strong commercial awareness, excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
  • Fluent in English.
