Senior Regional Sales Manager / Executive – Banking Solutions

 Multiple ASEAN Senior Sales roles in TRADE FINANCE, LENDING, PAYMENTS & CASH MANAGEMENT, and DIGITAL RETAIL BANKING – Global Leader Banking Solutions provider – Excellent Financial Remuneration – High Impact, Visible Role – Individual Contributor

Four (4) sales headcounts:

  1. Regional Sales Executive / Manager for Trade Finance
  2. Regional Sales Executive / Manager for Lending Solutions
  3. Regional Sales Executive / Manager for Payments & Cash Management
  4. Regional Sales Executive / Manager for Digital Retail Banking

As our Client converts its global business model from license to subscription, and transitions from a software solutions provider to a global software platform, they are seeking a high impact and visionary sales leader who is rich in operations and strong in driving sales process, cadence, and discipline, and with a strong knowledge of the ASEAN Banking Software Solutions market.

To be supported by a terrific Regional Head and leadership who are well known to unconditionally support their teams.

The Regional Sales Executive – Banking Software Solutions works as an Individual Contributor and will generate new business sales of complex banking solutions in either Trade Finance, Lending, Cash Management & Payments, and Digital Retail banking to FSI and Banking clients in the APAC and specifically ASEAN region. (S)He should have a successful track record of navigating financial institutions and the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly with multiple years of exceeding quota at other sales organizations in ASEAN / APAC is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve new business sales objectives through initiating contact with prospective customers to sell the banking solutions and/or services.
  • Anticipates market and/or regulatory changes; provides market intelligence and the insights needed to anticipate competitor actions with Our Client’s impact
  • Has a comprehensive set of relationships with decision makers in assigned accounts/ prospects and the market with the most challenging or complex selling situations.
  • Identify market opportunities that contribute to the development and growth of a strong sales pipeline which will enable annual targets to be met.
  • Negotiates and closes the largest and most complex opportunities; helps create new offerings or combinations to meet client needs; adept to long sales cycles.
  • Be part of the regional and global reporting, forecasting, pipeline management cycles.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hunter and Closer of Complex Banking Solutions in ASEAN /APAC (Mandatory)
  • 10 + years of experience in sales or business development; proven track record of sales and achievement of sales targets in the banking and financial services sectors, and substantial relevant experience within the Banking Solutions domain for Trade Finance, Lending, Cash Management & Payments, and Digital Retail Banking.
  • Excellent knowledge and contacts within the banking and financial sector in the ASEAN / APAC region.
  • Strong business knowledge on core/complex BANKING solutions & technologies.
  • Ability to lead complex sales engagements where appropriate and to manage major/strategic accounts.
  • Demonstrated successful track record in Sales and Account Management; experience in complex sales including engaging early in the customer buying cycle at senior levels, building long-term strategic and executive relationships, and opportunity planning.
  • Strong commercial awareness, excellent client facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Work is performed in a general or home office environment; must be comfortable traveling to customers sites.
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
