Our client is an international company with a long history of providing banking solutions and services to local and multinational banks globally. They provide modular and integrated software solutions in every aspect of banking and financial services namely Core Banking, Anti-money Laundering, E-banking, Mobile Banking, and Payment Systems, among others which are offered under the on-premise, SaaS, and BaaS models.

You will be responsible for overseeing, executing, and implementing our client’s Banking Solutions according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes leadership in project planning, resource management, progress reporting, team management, troubleshooting, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The Project Manager will own the end-to-end project life cycle from requirements definition to implementation to go live and transitioning. Needless to say, the Project Manager will keep a good balance between client management and change requests justification.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage project, scope, budget, plan and resourcing requirements
  • Determine and set profitability and milestones
  • Run the implementation to finish
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams in various geographical locations
  • Establish and manage partner involvement and contribute to partners Service Level Agreements
  • Be the point of escalation for partners and subcontractors.
  • Obtain client sign-offs on project definitions, scopes, deliverables, agreed milestones, and all change control items.
  • Ensure project budgets and deadlines are met; monitor the quality of deliverables according to our client’s delivery methodology. Draft and submit budget variations, recommending adjustments as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and advise Account Managers accordingly.
  • Provide clear and effective project progress reports, identify potential crises, implement contingency plans, resolve issues, and update Change Control through weekly/monthly status reports and ad-hoc reports as needed. Escalate issues beyond your responsibility that may affect project success or our client’s position.
  • Attend client and stakeholder meetings, including steering committees.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships and take ownership of key initiatives across business levels and functions.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of end-to-end Project Management experience in the Banking environment.
  • Experience working on the client side of an implementation program.
  • Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry (e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma).
  • A proven track record of delivering complex banking software projects and programs with positive commercial outcomes and meeting client expectations.
  • Excellent people leader and team player, strong in multi-tasking, and capable of working autonomously or leading a fast-paced cross-functional team.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
