The Senior Sales Manager – Lending Solutions is an individual contributor role responsible for generating new business within the Banking and Financial Services industry. This position will play a key role in expanding the existing footprint of our client in the region by driving business growth and development.

The Senior Sales Manager – Lending Solutions will lead sales engagement with banking and financial services organizations, promoting our client’s Lending Solutions. This strategic role is integral to the organization, with the primary responsibility of achieving sales targets through the execution of tailored sales strategies based on a localized territory plan.

Senior Sales Manager – Lending Solutions typically comes from a reputable background of large banking / lending solution providers such as Nucleus Software, nCino, TurnKey Lender, Fiserv, Q2 Software, SAP, Oracle, Temenos, FIS, Finastra, Avaloq, Calypso, Edgeverve, TCS but could also be principals, senior managers, and directors from the Financial Services arms of organizations such as Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, CapGemini, PWC, IBM, Infosys and similar WITH STRONG SALES EXPERIENCE OF LENDING, CREDIT ASSESSMENT AND LOAN ORIGINATION SOLUTIONS SALES.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by proactively engaging prospective clients to promote Lending Solutions within the FinTech space.
  • Build, Own and Manage the GTM for your geographical area
  • Engage, present, sell and close the Lending Solutions
  • Meet and Exceed sales goals and targets
  • Analyse market trends and design targeted sales campaigns to effectively compete in high stakes bid scenarios.
  • Lead negotiations, structure deals, and close opportunities that align with both customer needs and Our Client’s delivery capabilities, leveraging available resources for product marketing and specialized sales support.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to target and secure key accounts, driving growth in assigned products and services.
  • Work with Solution Engineering, Services for winning responses to Tenders, RFIs and RFPs
  • Develop and execute strategies to serve and expand the Banking and Financial Services customer base within the assigned region.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, cultivating a strong sales pipeline to ensure the achievement of annual sales targets.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales plans, while ensuring accurate forecasting and timely closure of opportunities through strategic pursuit planning.
  • Participate in regional and global sales reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Senior Manager – Lending Solutions will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven “Hunter” and “Closer” mentality, with a successful track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • 12+ years of experience in sales particularly within the Banking and Financial Services sectors, with a focus on fintech solutions.
  • 8+ years in Lending Solutions Sales (or Loan Origination or Credit Assessment)
  • Strong expertise in Lending, Loan Origination, Credit Assessment, Banking software, and emerging fintech technologies.
  • Experience leading complex sales engagements and managing key/strategic accounts with a consultative approach.
  • Demonstrated success in Sales and Account Management, including early-stage engagement with senior decision-makers, cultivating long-term strategic relationships, and driving opportunity planning.
  • In-depth commercial awareness, combined with exceptional client-facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
