Base Location: Singapore
The Growth Payment Specialist, a mix of Sales and Payments Subject Matter Expert, will be the top and key go-to person in APAC for payments solutions; a natural deal maker and rainmaker, driving Payments Solutions Go-to-Market Strategy, identifying and enabling Payments Solutions Sales, and selling our client’s world-renowned top-end Payments Solutions to banks and financial institutions while expanding our client’s already established presence in the region.
The Growth Payment Specialist will focus on growing and developing the business within the payments solutions space.
The IDEAL Growth Payment Specialist is well known for No. 1 and No. 2 for sure but ideally also for 3 and 4:
1. Influencer
Visible, connected, knows movers and shakers, sees moves and who will shake, speaks/posts, and brings key figures together at events/forums/meetings, etc. Have a black book.
2. Rain Maker
A large/big game hunter can be the capability multiplier for what sales does or see/know opportunities on their own and create a path for our client to get into the best position largely due to relationships with prospects/consultants/industry influencers, etc.
3. Bridge
Between market/prospect and internal units of Our Client. Can be go-to for Sales to solve, also for LOB and Our Client’s corp leadership; quickly gains internal capital to pull off FIS CEO/Client CXO connects/intros, etc.
4. Reference Authority
You are the internal go-to for topics of industry/domain; educate and influence internally the direction of product/GTM/capex/alliances; and have leadership presence.
The target client level for the Growth Payment Specialist is the C-suite, EVP, SVP, and and Directors, most of whom (s)he would already know. She/He will work across all the Senior Heads and will be supported by impressive sales, pre-sales, solutions consulting, and architect teams of our client’s organization. You will be one of the best in the region with a sales (not services) background.
To give you an idea of the financial rewards, a mega deal commission is capped at USD 1,000,000. Base salary is flexible to attract the best. OTE is based on 50-50 with no cap. Benefits and stock options are excellent.
Ideally, the Growth Payment Specialist is from companies such as First Data–Fiserv, Global Payments, TSYS Payment Solutions, Atos Worldline, Marqeta, HPS Technologies, Icon Payments, Heartland Payment Systems, Nexi Group, Visa, Mastercard, ASG, ACI, TCS, DXC, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Temenos, FIS, Oracle/Flexcube, Infosys/Finacle, Finastra, SAP, Broadbridge, SS&C, and Smartstream.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Singapore Citizen or PR (certain nationalities excluded for PR due to MoM / Compass regulations
- Hands-on hunter and closer.
- Proven ability to actively engage in client interactions and deal execution and work closely with sales teams in the front lines. Must combine strategic thinking with hands-on sales involvement to drive deep customer interactions and maximize opportunities.
- 15+ years of software selling experience to the financial services industry, with 8+ years specifically in Payment Solutions, especially issuing sales, and a proven track record of selling to Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks and financial institutions.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in payments, issuing, high-value payment systems, high-volume payment transactions, card processing, etc.
- Proven track record of subject matter expertise in the payments industry.
- Expert in acquiring in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses, identifying their challenges and opportunities, and positioning solutions to address those needs effectively.
