The Senior Sales and Key Account Manager will manage a sales and account team based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading the team in achieving sales targets, developing strategic account plans and expand our client’s presence in Saudi Arabia.

They provide modular, integrated software solutions that span all areas of banking and financial services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales and account management activities for Payment Solutions in Saudi Arabia, with a strong focus on growing enterprise relationships within the banking and financial services sector.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales and account management professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and individual performance targets.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across key financial institutions in Saudi Arabia, while also growing existing client accounts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at banks, FinTechs, government sector and financial entities.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth in recurring revenue.
  • Drive high-value solution sales, including Payment Gateways, Switching, Card Issuance, and Enterprise Payment Platforms.
  • Maintain a robust and healthy pipeline of opportunities, delivering accurate sales forecasts across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, delivery, and marketing teams to align client needs with tailored solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in Saudi Arabia and wider MEA region to inform sales strategies.
  • Contribute to regional and global reporting processes, providing insights and projections to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in both sales hunting and strategic account management across Payment Solutions— including Card Management, Payment Gateways, Switching, and Digital Payments — as well as Enterprise Financial Technology.
  • Prior leadership or people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to guide, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of the banking and financial ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, with an established senior-level network including regulatory bodies.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capabilities, and the ability to close large enterprise deals.
  • Experience managing major accounts, developing long-term partnerships, and delivering client success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA or related postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); Arabic language proficiency strongly preferred.
