As a visionary leader of international professional services, you will oversee the execution of our client’s Core Banking Solution on a global scale. This role places you at the forefront of a strategic evolution in financial services technology, leading a cross-functional global team to support institutions transitioning from traditional systems to agile, cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Project Execution & Delivery
- Lead the successful global implementation of SaaS and on-premise Core Banking projects, overseeing migrations, upgrades, and ensuring high-quality delivery in alignment with customer expectations.
- Drive the strategic allocation of resources across regions, collaborating with the Project Management Office and Centers of Excellence across regions for seamless project execution.
- Ensure operational excellence by guiding and mentoring teams and partners across various regions to meet performance standards.
- Oversee delivery, services, change requests, patches, risk management, issues management, and add-on sales, ensuring alignment across all regional heads and global functions.
Global Sales & Contractual Engagement
- Partner with global sales and pre-sales teams to define professional services scope, prepare comprehensive project agreements, and lead negotiations at an international level.
- Facilitate cross-regional collaboration, ensuring that customer commitments align with product roadmaps and release schedules.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Own, manage and provide leadership to the Regional and Cluster Heads, Partners, and manage Global Services through these heads, overseeing their teams to drive excellence across all operational areas, while ensuring regional and global expertise development across functional and technical domains.
- Drive global talent strategies, enhancing professional development and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
- Collaborate with the talent team to build a strong global talent pipeline, align on hiring needs, make informed hiring decisions, and provide mentorship, support, and career development for team members while managing their professional growth across multiple regions.
- Serve as the point of top escalation for all services-related matters, ensuring prompt resolution of critical issues and maintaining operational excellence.
Financial & Performance Management
- Oversee global revenue forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring financial health through cost optimization, resource planning, and efficient backlog management.
- Work closely with leadership teams to develop and implement cost-effective service strategies.
Global Customer Engagement & Risk Management
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for global customer concerns, mitigating risks quickly and ensuring proactive customer engagement strategies.
- Establish a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks across global projects.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the global services team, refining frameworks, governance models, and delivery practices across regions.
- Promote cross-functional alignment by facilitating communication between Product, Cloud IT, Support, and other teams to ensure client objectives are met.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience managing global professional or managed services teams.
- Deep expertise in SaaS and cloud-based software implementations, ideally within the financial services sector, is essential.
- Solid understanding of Core Banking solutions is a must.
- Exceptional stakeholder management experience, with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively across international teams, clients, and partners.
- Commercial acumen with a strong background in project scoping, financial planning, cost optimization, and resource management.
- In-depth knowledge of technical, functional, and project management disciplines in a global context.
- A structured and programmatic approach to global project execution, ensuring efficiency and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fluency in English (other languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel globally.
