This individual contributor role is focused on generating new business sales for our client’s Lending Solutions within the Financial Services sector across Mainland Southeast Asia (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar). The ideal candidate will play a key role in meeting sales targets, creating strategic account plans, and expanding our client’s regional footprint through customized sales strategies that align with overall growth objectives.

Our client is a leading FinTech company, specializing in lending technology for banks and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively network, engage, identify, and close sales opportunities in the Lending solutions space across Thailand (primary market), Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar
  • Act as a strategic ‘hunter,’ focused on acquiring new clients and establishing strong relationships with C-level decision-makers in banks and financial institutions throughout the region
  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives by selling Lending software solutions and associated services
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies and campaigns to win competitive deals in the lending domain
  • Identify and cultivate new market opportunities to grow the sales pipeline and deliver against annual targets
  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations
  • Accurately forecast and manage short, medium, and long-term sales cycles
  • Contribute to regular sales reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management processes at the regional and global level

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven success as a sales ‘hunter’ and ‘closer’
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, and specifically 2 – 3 years Lending/Loan Origination/Credit Risk software solutions sales
  • Demonstrated experience closing complex sales with banks and financial institutions in Thailand and preferably also in Cambodia, Laos, or Myanmar
  • Strong regional network and deep understanding of the lending landscape and regulatory environment in the region
  • Ability to build high-level relationships and navigate strategic sales opportunities
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to tailor solutions to client needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in Thai and English (both written and spoken); additional local languages are a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
