The Senior Presales Consultant will be responsible in discovering requirements and identifying product functionality by utilizing product, technical, and industry knowledge to develop and recommend comprehensive solutions for banking clients. This includes covering all pre-sales services to current and prospective clients, distributors, and partners to facilitate and enable sales, deployment and support of our client’s products and services through effective teamwork with the rest of the organization.

 

(S)He will work collaboratively at a high level with internal and external customers in Sales, Product Strategy, Development, etc. to optimize and leverage any product/sales capabilities and build them into the short- and long-term pre-sales strategy.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the pre-sales phase by introducing our client’s Loan Origination, Loan Servicing and Syndication product offering through product demonstrations with prospective and current customers on functionality, performance, system architecture, system requirements, and best practices.
  • Design solution architecture, complementing considering a prospect’s envisioned solution landscape
  • Develop C-Level solutions presentations and demos
  • Make proposals on potential prospects and leads with regards to technical compatibility and feasibility, and when required, contribute to the development of the pre-sales strategy.
  • Develop detailed customer deployment and/or system integration plans.
  • Respond to RFx / customer queries and deliver the Proof of Concepts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Taking a proactive approach in generating business growth ideas across your solution set, while defining corresponding Go-To-Market strategies and solution offerings.
  • Customer focus and has developed the acumen to cultivate and build lasting customer relations; present and contribute as an expert in customer calls and events, as necessary, to promote our client’s products and services.
  • Provide industry thought leadership, engage with the regulatory bodies, business associations, sector magazines, clients to remain updated on the present and future industry drivers and challenges
  • Collaborate and support to presales colleagues in other parts of the world, provide relevant market needs and product gap information to Product Management and Development teams.
  • Assist Professional Services team during scoping sessions to ensure continuity and efficient handover.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Solution Consulting, Presales, Business Consulting, Business Analysis, or Project Implementation for complex Lending applications / products across with clients in Asia and ANZ regions.
  • Mandatory experience in the banking software/financial services industry with strong technical and business knowledge on Loan Origination, Loan Servicing and Syndication.
  • Experience of Commercial lending & BABOK certification will be a value add.
  • Working knowledge of RFR, LIBOR transition to SOFR across different jurisdictions, and impact analysis of the same on regulatory reporting.
  • Assesses, applies and projects the impact of system changes on Bookkeeping, Trade Management, Position PL monitoring, Billing, etc.
  • Ability to build understanding and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Appreciation and understanding of software development lifecycle and technology.
  • Work is performed in a general or home office environment; must be comfortable traveling to customers sites.
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
