The Senior Sales Executive – Payments Software will have access to a comprehensive, integrated portfolio of products, offering a superior ability to sell and cross-sell compared to the competition. This is an individual contributor role, responsible for defining sales strategies and managing sales opportunities with both new and existing clients. Experience in selling Payments Solutions is required. The Senior Sales Executive will report directly to the Regional Director.
Candidates with experience in selling solutions/solutions of ASG, Fiserv, ACI, TCS, DXC, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Temenos, FIS, Oracle / Flexcube, Infosys/Finacle, Finastra, SAP, Global Payments, Broadbridge, SS&C, and Smartstream are especially welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying sales opportunities within both new and existing client portfolios.
- Manage the complete sales cycle for the client’s Payments products, including prospecting, preparing and presenting proposals, and closing deals.
- Deliver accurate short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to meet and exceed annual sales targets.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships within the banking sector.
- Collaborate with third-party partners and consultancy sales teams to maximize sales opportunities through business partners.
- Provide support for market research efforts by sharing insights on banking systems and key industry contacts.
- Partner with pre-sales teams to ensure customers receive appropriate and effective support.
Requirements:
- Hunter and farmer
- 10+ years of software selling experience to the financial services industry, with 5+ years specifically in Payment Solutions sales, and a proven track record of selling to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Banks and Financial Institutions.
- Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry, particularly in Payments.
- Skilled at acquiring in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses, identifying their challenges and opportunities, and positioning solutions to address those needs effectively.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with extended cross-functional teams such as Pre-Sales and Professional Services to drive sales campaigns.
- Established C-Level relationships across the top tiers of the Financial Services sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.
- Confident in building and maintaining internal and external relationships at all levels, including C-suite executives.
- Must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident.
- University degree required.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel as required.
